Discovering Herbs For My Healing

Hi and welcome to my first blog Inspired by Herbs!

I started my passion for herbal teas in my twenties when I first discovered a tea shop. I mean who wouldn't walk into a tea shop and be mesmerised by all the beautiful varieties of teas available.

Up until my cornea transplant in 2015, I had only purchased pre-packaged tea blends, but once I started looking into natural healing methods I realised how easy it is to make my own. Who would have thought herbs really do have so many more qualities than just flavouring our dinner. I then set off on a discovery mission to find herbs for my eyesight and wellbeing.

At the time I was starting to take the contraceptive pill and wanted to ease my body into the transition. As I was researching I realised that hormone balancing herbs also help us to relax, so this blend turned into a double healing remedy.

The ingredients I chose for my Happy Hormones and Relaxing Brew and their benefits are:

For hormonal benefits: Lemon balm, Chamomile, Sage, Lavender, Passionflower and Dandelion leaves.

For relaxing benefits: Astragalus, Chamomile, Lavender and Passionflower.

For general wellbeing and a pick me up benefits: Sage, Lemon Balm and Rosehip.
